Attractive cluster ring, with a central opal, surrounded by small diamonds. Pre-owned and dating from circa 1930s Art Deco period. The setting is white platinum, and the band and under-mount is 18ct yellow gold. The shoulders of the ring have an engraved pattern of leaf and v-shape. Band is bevelled and stamped 18ct. PLAT. The rounded opal shows nice colour, and has a little surface dulling due to age and usage - if desired, this could probably be polished up by a jeweller. Face of ring measures 10.65 mm diameter. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size O+ (USA size 7.1/4) with an internal diameter of 1.81 mm. Overall, condition is very good. TW: 4.25g.
