Amethyst and Gold Vintage Ring.

Nice purple oval amethyst stone mounted onto a 9ct yellow gold flat band. Basket-style setting. Face of ring including claws measures 11.48 mm by 9.80 mm. Very pretty colour.  Pre-owned ring, probably dates from around mid 1900s (say 1950 or so). Ring fitting is size NZ/UK O  (USA size 7) with an internal diameter of 17.70 mm. Stamped 9ct inside the band. Very good condition.  Really attractive ring. TW: 3.1g
