Looking very much like rubies (but are actually two rhodolite garnets), this lovely vintage ring has an 18ct yellow gold bevelled shank with platinum shoulders and mount. Pretty scroll-work to the sides of the mount in yellow gold. Decorated shoulders. The stones are 3.5 mm round mixed cut. Face of ring measures 10 mm wide by 5 mm. The shank is 2 mm. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size N+ (USA size 6.3/4) with an internal diameter of approx. 17.22 mm. Normal scuffs to sides of mount, commensurate with age. Hallmarked "18ct" and "PLAT".  Two stones rings are often called Moi & Toi rings (Me & You). Very romantic. Dates probably from early 1900s to 1920s.  TW: 2.64g.
