14ct Gold and Carved Chrysoprase Earrings.

14ct gold framed drop earrings, with oval panels of carved chrysoprase. The carvings are of a scarab on the domed face of the earring, and of a star shape over an X on the rear.  Chrysoprase is a green variety of chalcedony, and is a beautiful dark apple green. A much-prized stone in ancient times. Face of earrings measures 1.9 cm including the bale, by 1.15 cm wide.  Hooks for pierced ears. One suspension hook is slightly different from the other, but they are both the same length. Excellent condition. Pre-owned. TW: 3.3g.
