Small Sterling Silver-Topped Vanity Jar.

Very nice dressing table jar - silver lid with hob-nail design crystal base Starburst engraved under base. The top is initialed in the centre. I can’t read the initials - maybe J.B.? They are in a flowing intertwining script. Interior of the lid is still faintly gilded. It is hallmarked Birmingham (UK), 1901. L & S - which stands for Levi & Salaman who were prominent silversmiths of the time.  Measurements:  6.75 cm high by 5.25 cm diameter. Excellent condition, no damage to either base or top.
