Heavy pair of bases - could be used as lamp bases, or returned to candlesticks. They are in the form of a seated female holding aloft the candle holder sconce. She has flowers on her draped robe - the base in scrolled onto four feet. Fitted for lights, the items measure 46 cm high with a base of 13 cm square. If the lamp baton is removed, it would give candle-holders of 32 cm high. Wiring has been cut as per regulations. The surface of the brass has been lacquered at some time, and this is now wearing off, leaving a mottled look - but all would polish up if you had the energy and elbow-grease to do it. One lamp baton is a bit crooked (see images). Very good condition otherwise, possibly date from early half of 20th century, and are probably European.
