An 1835 steel engraving, a fashion print for ladies - cape and bonnet fashions. Hand-coloured (old work), and titled "Fashions for November 1835". Actually 1835 was 2 years before Victoria came to the throne - so it was published during the brief reign of William IV.  Framed whole measures 43 cm high by 36 cm wide. On the reverse is written: "Steel engraving, hand-coloured contemporary to the print". A little age yellowing, but still very attractive and interesting. Faun coloured mount, gold frame (looks fairly recent).
