Early 20th century Mediterranean red coral necklace, made from coral twigs. Restrung at some stage on nylon. Pretty engraved brass clasp. England stamped to the rear. These necklaces were all the rage from the early 1900s up to the 1940s.This one has twigs varying in size, from approx. 9 mm to 15 mm in length. Necklace measures 380 mm (15 inches) in length. Very good condition.
