Vintage Agate Stones Bracelet.

Often called a 'rockhound" bracelet - because often these items of jewellery including necklaces and bracelets, were made from stones collected and polished by a "rock hound", or stones collector, who would then mount them onto bases available from shops catering for such collectors. This one sees the stones mounted onto a plated mesh bracelet. Stone shops were popular in the 1950s. Bracelet measures 17.5 cm long and 1.4 cm deep. Excellent condition.
