Victorian Tortoiseshell Cased Lorgnette.

Late 1800s lorgnette or spectacles - they fold away into the case, and have a long black neck cord - you wear the cord around your neck, and flip open the spectacles when you want to peer at or look at  something. Item measures 11 cm long by 2.7 cm wide. There is a tiny chip in the case near the hinge. Otherwise very good original condition.
