Shawl or plaid pin - large circular silver domed brooch, engraved with thistle flowers and leaves. Heavy steel pin to rear. Measurement: 9.1 cm diameter. Weighs 75.5g.  Made to hold bunches of Scots plaid together as a cape or shawl.
