Very Large Handmade Bowl, Gilded, Strawberry Decoration.

Very ornate oval deep bowl, cream glaze with handles, rim and feet heavily gilded with 24K gold. Decorated with large strawberries and leaves, also with gilding applied. Stamped underneath "Ahura. Hand Made". Ahura are an Italian firm, known for their elegant items. Founded by Ezio Zanardello, they produce top quality, high-priced finely-glazed decor items.  This bowl measures 45.5 cm wide by 32 cm, and stands 29 cm high.  It has two small blemishes - both to the feet, chips to two feet - they don't face the front or back, but to the side, so easily missed. Easily repaired.  Quite stunning item for the right home. Pre-owned.
