Uusual Small Antique Powder Compact.

Made in bakelite, this tiny compact from the very early 1900s ahs a little flower-head style motif inlaid into the lid. The faceted stones are glass. The screw top reveals a tiny powder puff, and some very, very fine pale beige loose face powder. It really blends very well into the skin, unlike today's loose powders, which tend to stay on top of the skin.  The little pot measures 3.8 cm diameter and 2.2 cm high. Very good condition.
