Sterling Silver Egg Cup, Gilded Interior.

Excellent quality English egg cup with extended round base. Gilded inside. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1946. The maker's mark is L & S, for Levi and Salaman. Item measures 6 cm high and 8 cm diameter at the base. The base is weighted to provide stability. Can't have been used, as there is no wear to the gilding. There are  tiny pin head shallow dents on one side of the actual cup, but this is a good-looking item.
