Sterling Silver and Opal Chip Earrings, Clips.

Vintage oval clip-back earrings, made in silver with central panels of black opal chips. Maker's mark is "Scandia", which is an Australian company, founded in Melbourne in 1951 and still in business today. Their ethic was clean lines in the Scandinavian style. These earrings would date from the 1960s. They measure 2.4 cm by 1.7 cm. They are in excellent condition, and the spring in the clips is as good as ever.
