Staffordshire Flat Back Figurine of Highland Couple.

This large 19th century Staffordshire figure group of a Highland couple seated over a clock face is 38cm high (15 inches) and 23cm wide (9 inches).  Repair to neck. Normal crazing. One very small old chip to base side rim. One small area of colour loss to the woman’s hair. (Could be touched up). These types of Victorian figurines were easy to chip, and are often damaged in various small ways. Overall this is a large handsome flat back for the mantelpiece, and presents well.
