Silver and Paua Shell Pieces Necklace.

Unusual vintage craftsman-made necklace,  chunks of paua shell joined together by thin silver rods. Hallmarked on the tongue of the catch 925 (sterling grade silver).  Necklace measures 42 cm long. The chunks take a bit of re-arranging when first put on, to get the patterned shell sides round the right way,  or maybe not bother, and have the backs showing also as a very organic look. Chunks are approx. 1.5 cm by 1 cm, but differ widely. Very good condition.
