Shipping Cream and Sugar Bowl.

Bone china jug and sugar bowl with pictures of the depicting the S.S. Princess Elaine on one and the S.S. Princess Norah on the other. The Princess Elaine was built in Scotland and was owned by the Canadian Pacific Railway Co. Over her long life she had many “incidents’ such as collisions, strandings etc. She was broken up in 1977. The Princess Norah was in service from 1929 to 1964, but not always under that name - her name was changed in 1955 to Queen of the North. She was owned by Canadian Pacific Steamships of Montreal, and after several more owners, she was broken up in the late 1980s.
This pair on memorabilia have gilded and scalloped rims. Jug is 6 cm high, and sugar is 5.5 cm high. Diameter for jug is 7.8 cm and for the sugar is is 8.75cm. Made by Collingwoods Bone China, England. Both in excellent condition.
