Set of 6 Edwardian-Period Silver Fruit or Oyster Forks.

Antique sterling silver set of forks - they can be used for cake forks, oyster forks, fruit forks or for spearing small sweetmeats. Each has three long curved tines, and a beautiful stem and finial. Small and dainty, measuring 12.5 cm long. Hallmark is for Sheffield (England) 1910, the last year of King Edward V11's reign. The maker's mark is W.G. & S for William Gallimore & Sons, of Sheffield.  6 forks, in their original morocco leather-covered case - lined with dark purple velvet and silk. Normal age marks to the exterior of the case. Forks and inner linings are in excellent condition. TSW: 96.6g.
