Retro Gold and Turquoise Ring.

Vintage 9ct yellow gold ring, with a volcano-like setting where the turquoise stone is held aloft by the mount. The claws are somewhat like flames. Unusual ring, very striking in appearance, you rarely see this setting. Face of ring is oval, and measures 1.7 cm wide by 1.8 cm. The oval stone is a duck-egg blue, and what area shows above the mount is approximately 0.09 cm by 1.1 cm. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size R (USA size 8.3/4) with an internal diameter of 1.88 cm.  The ring is pre-owned and would date around the mid 1900s. It is hallmarked 9ct inside the band. TW: 4.50g.
