Late 19th century Victorian candle sticks, classic design. Corinthian columns, beautifully detailed with stepped and bordered bases and slightly tapering stems. True Corinthian ornamentation. They each measure 16.5 cm high (6.1/2 inches). The bases are 8 cm square and the sconces are 5.5 cm square. Top and sides of sconces are a detachable whole for cleaning. Bases are felted. Condition is very good - very small minor patches of wear, barely noticeable, and a few minor shallow indentations to the base edges. Very handsome pair, would grace any table or mantlepiece.
