Handsome pair of carving knife rests (used to prevent meat juices touching your pristine white table cloth when carving the roast). Also can be used as spoon rests.They have faceted ends and hexagonal centre rests. They measure 3.5 inches long and 1.1/4 inches diameter at the ends. Very large for knife rests. They are made in either crystal or glass - the facets show good age wear, and these would date around late 1800s to very early 1900s.
