Oriental Lacquer Box, Circa 1890.

Antique lacquer box, depicting courtyard and balcony scene with figures. Women watch through screens as the men conduct business in the courtyard. Gold and silver painting to the top, very vibrant scene. Box measures 17.7 cm long by 14.7 cm wide and 6.5 cm high. To open the box, you press a button on the front.
