Mother of Pearl Calling Card Case.

A  ladies’ small calling card case - mother of pearl in lovely cream, pinks and greens. Victorian or Edwardian period (circa approx. 1880-1905).  Flip-top lid. Catch works well. Measures 9cm by 5.5cm and 1cm thick (3.1/2 inches by 2.1/4 inches by 3/8 inch thick). Very good condition - one tiny sliver of pearl absent by lid opening on side (see c/u photo) and a small dent in the pearl on the opposite hinge edge (which may be natural). A very pretty item.
