Iconic NZ Paua and Silver Plated Candelabra.

Made by the original Ataahua company in New Zealand, this two-branch candle holder is a mid 20th century piece of Kiwi souvenir kitsch. It has a paua base, which has been weighted and filled.  The candle holders are silver plated. They need some cleaning, and the decorative twist metal branches are plated on brass, which shows through on the edges. Would polish up more than I have achieved. Width of branches: 19.5 cm. Height overall: 12 cm. The base is 14 cm by 10 cm.  A great decorative piece - or ideal for the bach.
