Grand Junction Mine, Waihi, Vase.

Milk glass vase, with image of the Grand Junction Mine, in Waihi. Souvenir from early 20th century gold mining. Item measures 17.5 cm high. Base is 6.25 cm diameter, and has a maker’s mark of “Genuine Dolhain Wirths” - a company decorating satin glass in the early 20th century. This one is pre-1922.  (Dolhain is the industrial centre of the city of Limbourg, Wallonia, in the Belgian province of Liège). Excellent condition.
