Pretty amethyst ring, mounted in 9ct yellow gold, with three little leaves on each shoulder. The stone is oval and faceted. The bevelled band is 1.5mm wide. Face of ring measures 13 mm by 10 mm. There are abrasions to the facet edges commensurate with age and wear. Good colour - a deep purple. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size O+ (USA size 7.1/4) with an internal diameter of approx. 17.55 mm.  Vintage, pre-owned, probably dates from mid 20th century. TW: 2.2g.
