Beautifully bound book, one of a series of books on British Artists. Published by A & C Black, Soho Square, London, in 1910. 12 pages of history of Birket Foster, R.W.S., and the rest the sixteen illustrations of his work. Frontis page has a punchwork New Zealand address of "Edgecliff" Vauxhall Road, Devonport, NZ. Presumably the owner of the book.  Very good condition illustrations, some foxing and yellowing of the history pages, and very, very minor scuffs to the edges of the cover. Overall, a lovely book, measuring 24 cm by 18 cm and 1.2 cm thick.
