Australian Sterling Silver and Shell Sugar Spoon.

Pretty little spoon, sterling silver twist stem and finial - the finial is in the shape of Tasmania and bears this name engraved across the Island. The bowl of the shell is a beautiful pink shell. The back of the finial is hallmarked “Stg Sil” and the maker’s initials: “T & S”. Spoon measures 10 cm long, the shell bowl is 3.4 cm wide. All in excellent condition. It would date from late 1800s to early 1900s,  and comes in its original box, from Taylor & Sharp, Elizabeth Street, Hobart, Tasmania. (Box has some wear).
