Antique Sterling Silver Helmet Cream Jug.

Elegant antique creamer, hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1898. Maker is James Dixon & Sons. Classical helmet shape with round base and graceful handle. Measures 13 cm high,  approx. 11cm end to end handle to spout, and 6 cm wide.  It has the initials “M S” in flowing script engraved to the front, under the spout. Very good condition, one small professional repair where the base meets the main body. This is a very nice Victorian creamer.  TSW: 106.3 grams.
