Big Art Deco bowl - fruit bowl or serving bowl - decorated with bright yellow and blue flowers on a pale yellow background with orange rims. Pottery is Grindley, in the Staffordshire Potteries, England. Date of manufacture would be late 1930s. Large bowl measures 7 cm high by 24 cm diameter - the width including the handles is 26.5 cm. The small dessert bowl or cereal plate is 3.5 cm high and 16.5 cm diameter. Both items are in excellent condition. Very decorative.
