Unusual vintage ring, made in 18ct yellow gold in a high domed or cupola shape with the top being mounted with an approx. 3.60 mm emerald surrounded on a lower tier by eight tiny emeralds. The band has markings on the outside, which means that it is probably European in make - possibly French. I can't decipher the markings though, as these are tiny and a little rubbed. It tests as 18ct gold. Face of ring measures 15.1 mm diameter and 9.23 mm high. The band is 2.1 mm at the rear of the finger. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size N (USA size 7) with an internal diameter of 17.07 mm. Condition is very good. TW: 4.11g.
