14ct Gold Vintage Diamond Dress Ring.

Vintage diamond ring, unusual design in 14ct yellow and white gold. It probably dates from 1930s-50s. We have a valuation for this attractive ring, which describes it as follows: “White gold illusion disc claw setting, atop a 12.9 mm wide pierced grain-set leaf detail head, on yellow gold under-rails.1.8 mm tapering rounded shank with upswept scroll design shoulders. In good condition.”
The raised natural single diamond is illusion set, round brilliant cut estimated at 0.23 carat, with Fair make, H-1 colour, I2 clarity. Size approx.,3.85-3.95mm by 2.4 mm.  The other size natural diamonds are single cut, approx. 1-6 mm to 1.9 mm diameter, estimated total 0.15 carats, of good quality. TW: 4.25 gm. The ring fitting is NZ/UK size S (USA size 9.1/4) with an internal diameter of 19 mm.
The valuation is for NZ$1600.00 second-hand retail market price, with a new comparison value of NZ$3500.00. We can offer it at a favourable price, however.
