Mediterranean coral necklace with little stubs of coral ranging from about 1.1 cm long to ½ a cm long. Total length is 64.5 cm long. Mediterranean coral has a true coral colour, and is not dyed, as is so much of the new coral coming from South East Asia. Conservation reasons saw taking coral from the Med. banned in 1994, but prior to that French coastal coral and other regions in the area was extremely popular (especially in Victorian times) as a souvenir of a trip to France or Italy. This example is a very nice length to wear.
