This little holder closes much like a telescope for when it is not in use, and also is used to eject the cigarette - bakelite mouth piece, sterling stem and cone. It is hallmarked for Birmingham, England, 1955. The silversmith is S.J. Rose & Company. Length open is 91.2 mm (3.1/2 inches). Length closed is 69.87 mm (2.5/8 inches).  Cone tip is 11.75 mm external diameter, and approx. 8.43 mm internal diameter. Excellent pre-owned condition.
