An oval of iridescent paua shell (like abalone, but with more intense blue/green colours) mounted in silver  with cut-work ovals beside the face. Face of ring measures 2.5 cm by 1.3 cm. The paua measures 2.1 cm by 1.1 cm. Flat band, tapering to 6mm at rear of finger. Finger fitting is UK/NZ size N (USA size 6.1/2) with an internal diameter of  16.92 mm. Excellent new condition.
