Antique Dental Tool, Late 19th Century, White's.
Steel tool with ivory handle, late 1800s. Maker’s name S.S. White. White’s are an American manufacturer of dental implements, still trading today. They first introduced ivory-handled tools in 1880. This one is 15 cm long, and has a handle which tapers down t the tool. It is 1.5 cm diameter at the widest top end. It has the usual split lines in the ivory, age related, and all secure and tight. Very good condition.
