Circa 1920s-30s double inkstand by Crown Staffordshire, England.  Pretty item, with a rope-twist handle and floral decoration to the front and sides. There are two inkwells, both with removable porcelain ink cups, and little floral-decorated lids. There are holes for 4 dip pens, two at the rear, and two either side of the handle on the top of the stand. Item measures just under 15 cm wide, approx. 9 cm deep and 10.5 cm high. It is in excellent condition. Probably a ladies standish, and certainly a very ornamental one.
