Beautiful pendant, made in possibly 10 carat gold (could be 15ct, which was a standard in England at the time). Our gold-tester fluctuates between the two, so hard to read. It is yellow gold, and has little leaves and flowers mounted with tiny seed pearls. The stones (four of them) are a bright green and are possibly peridot doublets. Part of the design is articulated, but the area where the pendant sits on the chain has been fastened together with an O ring, so there is little movement now. Pendant measures about 43.8 mm by 27.56 mm. The chain is 420 mm long (16.5 inches). Edwardian period, early 1900s. Very good condition.
