Lobed design glass and silver plate castor, used for icing sugar on your strawberries or maybe ginger on your melon.
Lovely swept conical shape glass base. Measures 15.25 cm high (6 inches) and the base is 8 cm diameter. The silver plated top has a pretty turned finial. The glass is in excellent condition, the top has a couple of splits in the screw ring - if you screw the cap on tight, this will not effect it. It would date from 1930s-50s.
