Two Small Edwardian Porcelain Figurines, Match Holders.
Edwardian figurines, circa 1905. Two children, each holding an open small pot. Pretty cobalt blue and gold decoration on a white porcelain body. European, with well-painted face detailing. Not sure what the pots are for - but probably for wooden matches. These would sit on a mantelpiece for use with cigarettes or with to light the fire or gas fire. Each figurine is 5.6 cm high, and around 6.7 to 7 cm wide. Excellent condition, very attractive. They would have been made in Germany or France.
