Two piece 830 silver candlestick by Jakob Grimminger - Schwabisch Gmund, Germany. It comprises of a fluted base with a detachable sconce which fits into the base. Grimmingers were founded in 1893 and in the 1920s made Art Nouveau and Art Deco designs. This little candlestick is somewhat Art Nouveau in style. It measures 5 cm high, 7.5 cm diameter at the base, and would fit a candle around 2 cm diameter. The internal measurement of the sconce is 2.2 cm. Excellent condition. TW: 28.8g.
