Sterling Silver Toastrack, Regency Period.
Sterling silver toast rack, hallmarked for London, 1810, in the first year of the Regency of the future George IV over his father George III. Maker's mark is HN probably for Henry Nutting, or could be Hannah Northcote. Rack is 2.8 cm high (5 inches), 16 cm long and 10 cm wide. Sitting on four ball feet, it can accommodate 6 slices of toast, and is an elegant delicate design. Very good condition. TSW: 246g.
