Poison Ring, Silver and Garnet.

Flip-top sterling silver ring, mounted with an oval garnet. Flip the catch and the ring face opens to reveal a compartment for holding a small photo or keepsake - or, in days past (we hope) a poison powder to slip into his wine, like spies in a movie.  Pretty shoulders decorated with vines and leaves. The garnet measures approx. 7 mm by 5 mm. Face of ring is 16 mm y 11 mm. Ring fitting is NZ/UK size T+  (USA size 10) with an internal diameter of 19.84 mm. Excellent new condition.
