Gold Photo Locket, Early 1900s.
Rose-gold opening locket, with double photo insets. It has British hallmarks to the rear - they are somewhat rubbed, but the assay mark for 9 carat gold is there, and It looks like the date mark is Birmingham either 1900 or 1903. The inner frame for the photo on the left side is also hallmarked for 9ct gold. Locket measures 2.5 cm high (not including the bale) by 1.9 cm wide. It is 0.65 cm thick. The face of the locket and the interior are both in very good condition. The rear has a few marks, possibly a bit of it being an inscription which has been buffed out. A really nice locket. TW: 6.8g.
