Folding Fruit-knife, Sheffield 1925.
Pretty little item, designed for peeling apples or cutting up fruit when out striding around the countryside. No gentleman would be without one in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Handle is Mother of Pearl and has a pattern engraved to each side. British hallmarks for Sheffield 1925. Maker’s mark is W.N, which could be Willian Needham (most likely), or William Neale - both active around this period. Very good condition.
