Pewter lidded small pitcher - press the button at the rear of the lid and the flap opens. Made by Wileman & Co, Foley China of England - later to become Shelley in the 20th century. Jug has a registration mark which dates it to between 1895 and 1900. Measurements: 15 cm high, 8.5 cm diameter at the base, tapering to the top. Scalloped edge to base. Lobed and reeded pattern to body. Excellent condition.
