5 Matching Porcelain Fruit Plates, Fruit Patterns.
Vintage German porcelain fruit dessert plates - made by C.Tielsch & Co, of Silesia. Hutschenreuther took over this pottery in 1918, and these plates would date from this early part of the 20th century. Each plate has a different fruit pattern - one is plums, raspberries and cherries, one is peach, blue berries and black grapes, one is strawberries, blue berries and white grapes, one is apple and gooseberries with black currants and blackberries, and the last is quince with blackberries and little gooseberries. All have a beaded, gilded rim, with one having a tiny little nick out of the gilding. Diameter is 17.5 cm (7 inches), and all are otherwise in excellent condition.
