Paragon bone china - when Paragon was still the Star China Co - made in the Staffordshire Potteries. Beautiful tazza (or comport, or even cake stand) with cobalt blue glaze and fabulous gilded decoration of buds and flowers around the scalloped and lobed rim. The centre decoration is fruit. The backstamp dates it to the period circa 1912 or a few years later. Item measures 11.5 cm high and 23 cm diameter at the top. Excellent condition, no damage and the gilding is in excellent condition also.
