Made in chrome over brass, this original Art Deco item is made to screw to the bathroom wall (over or near the wash basin) and would hold a beaker or a glass for rinsing teeth or holding toothbrushes. The wall fitting is mounted by screws  - it is mounted on the angle, like a diamond shape. The holder protrudes from the wall around 10.25 cm. The holder itself is 7.5 cm diameter with sides 4 cm high. Condition: there are signs of the brass mellowing through on the sides of the holder, where it has been polished over the years, and it has some of the pitting that is frequently found in chrome of some age. A clean with Grunt (the boatie's go-too cleaner for chrome fittings) would probably help, or it could be re-chromed. Very sound otherwise. Quite heavy.
